Zion Parking Structure

The soil nail shoring for this project supported the 60-foot excavation for a 4-story underground parking structure, built under Main Street. Because the project was surrounded by shopping malls on both sides the project was put on a fast-tracked schedule so as to be completed and not interfere with the holiday shopping season.

The soil nail shoring solution that PB&A designed for Condon Johnson Assoc. allowed the support system to be installed in less than 90 days. Micro-piles were used for the underpinning of the multi-story buildings that bordered the excavation.
